What is a UCI?

UCI is a unique case identifier – WineCap's proprietary system for tracking each individual case of wine from when it enters our custody to when it leaves, and identifying ownership of the case while in our warehouse.

UCI enables us to track trades between our customers and verify provenance and chain of custody throughout a wine’s history with us.

Having an active UCI assigned to your account on the portal confirms your ownership of the associated case.
