Château Ormes de Pez, a notable estate located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of Bordeaux, France, owes its name to the village of Pez near Saint-Estèphe and the majestic elm trees ("ormes" in French) that once dotted its landscape. Dating back to the 18th century, the history of Château Ormes de Pez is rich with tradition and a deep commitment to the terroir. The château used to be classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. When the classification was formally dropped in 2011, it joined the marketing group Les Exceptionnels, made up of five other former Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel estates.
